Dr. Sonal Bhoot, DMD - Dental Expressions Owner Dentist
Dr. Bhoot has over 7 years of dental experience and received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2003 from the New Jersey Dental School. Dr. Bhoot has certifications and proficiencies in cosmetic dentistry, CEREC training, Invisalign, endodontics, oral surgery, TMJ disorders, restorative dentistry and more. She also treats children. Dr. Bhoot facilitates training for dental assistants within the local community. She participates with programs to help underprivileged children receive dental care. Her extensive training and dedication to on going education allow her to provide all of her patients with a smile they can be confident with. Dr. Bhoot has a very well rounded background with training in inner city settings to more suburban areas. One of her special qualities is her ability to connect with people of all age groups. She enjoys spending time with her family. Dr. Bhoot is married to Dr. Veeral Bhoot and has two daughters;
4 year
old Uma and
8 month
old Jaya. In their spare time, they enjoy attending concerts, local children fairs, community festivals, traveling and trying different ethnic foods.

Cindy Frisbie - Lead Financial Coordinator
I have been in the medical field for over 23 years, as a registered medical assistant. With experience in filing insurance claims, managing patient accounts, scheduling, and dealing with any financial concerns the patients may have. I live life based on strong family oriented principals, with a stable background. I have been married for 30 years and have been a resident of Lee's Summit since 1985, with two grown boys. In my free time I enjoy riding my Harley, traveling, national parks, reading, and family activities.
Barbara Kiso - Part-Time Financial Coordinator
Barb is our part-time financial coordinator. She has been experienced in the medical/dental field for many years. She manages insurance claims, treatment plan costs, scheduling appointments, and any financial concerns that patients have. In her free time she enjoys interior painting as well as reading, gardening, and music. She is married with two children and three grandchildren. She has been part of the Lee's Summit community for over 15 years.
Debbie Sutherland - Dental Assistan & Receptionist
Debbie is a certified registered dental assistant in private practice for over 25 years. She is an integral part of our practice. Mostly all of our patients are greeted by Debbie and are made felt at home with her gentle touch and warm mannerism. She takes the time to address our patient's needs and concerns about dental procedures. Her enthusiasm for dentistry is well matched by the extensive continuing education courses she has taken over the years. She is certified in ZOOM whitening as well as in CEREC cad/cam technology. She has lived in the nearby Lee's Summit area for over 30 years and is married to a wonderful husband Terry. They are Nascar fans. She has one son and a beautiful granddaughter.
Debby Herrick - Registered Dental Hygeinist
Hello, my name is Debby Herrick and I am one of Dr. Bhoot's hygienist. I am originally from Marshall, Missouri. I attended MO Southern State College and graduated in 1994 with an Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. My desire to become a hygienist was to help make a difference in peoples lives through education and being able to directly take part in their dental oral healthcare.
After graduation I met my husband of 15 years, Bobby Herrick. We now reside in Raymore, MO. The highlight of our lives are our 2 beautiful children, Clint (age 10) and Chloe (age 6). Clint is entering 4th grade and Chloe will be starting kindergarten this fall. We keep very busy with sporting events but love to go to the lake. We have a small lake get away at Pomme De Terre Lake and enjoy our free summer week-ends there. The kids have grown to be little water lovers too. It is truly a pleasure being your dental hygienist and I look forward to shining up your pearly whites!
Suzanne Webster - Registered Dental Hygeinist
Suzanne is our part-time hygienist. She is an excellent hygienist with great people skills. Most of our patients love her personality. She has been with our practice for over 5 years. She performs gum treatments that include deep scaling and root planing as well as regular adult and child prophylaxis. She also places sealants on children's teeth. She is very gentle and is very enthusiastic about dentistry. She has taken many continuing education courses in hygiene. She is married and in her spare time she enjoys shopping.
Kacee McDade - Dental Assistant
I am a recent graduate of Concorde college. I graduated with a 4.0 and several academic achievements. I was born and raised most of my life in Joplin, Mo. Two years ago I moved to the Oak Grove area with great intentions of starting college. I have two older brothers and a younger sister. I am an aunt to three beautiful nieces and nephews and one one the way. Some of my hobbies and favorite activities are riding 4-wheelers, going on float trips, traveling, helping other people, spending time with friends and family, and most of all I love to enjoy life. A true passion of mine would be putting a smile on someones face.
Emily Phillips - Dental Assistant
Emily joined our practice recently, and has been a true team player. She is a certified dental assistant, but her role is unique in that she also is our receptionist. She is cross-trained, and can be of help to patients in the dental operatory as well as in our reception area. She is very friendly, great with kids, motivated, and has a wonderful spirit which most of our patients love. Her hometown is Independence, MO. She is also certified in ZOOM whitening. In her spare time, she enjoys going to Kansas City Royals games.
